    • Supervise and direct approximately 25 maintenance planners in the development of weekly and shutdown maintenance work.
    • Works directly with Operations to schedule and coordinate maintenance downtime.
    • Partnering with Company Training personnel to develop Maintenance Planner Training materials and documents.
    • Ensure Planning Group provides accurate estimates of labor, parts, and services for repairs and improvements.
    • Ensure that Planning Group works effectively with Inventory personnel to ensure that all scheduled maintenance work has the necessary parts on hand for the task without depleting the storeroom inventory or unnecessarily adds to the storeroom inventory.
    • Manages the work orders in the work flow system that are under the control of the planning group to maximize planning efficiency and minimize kitted parts on hand. 
    • Coach, facilitate and mentor planners.
    • Provides training as necessary for planner development


    • Secure the scheduling of outside resources on an as needed basis.


    • Ensures the Planning Group is scheduling inspections, calibrations, validations, preventive maintenance at the correct intervals and levels.

    • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Planning Group’s KPI’s


    Required Education and Related Experience:

    • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of CMMS experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of maintenance trade experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience
    • Strong computer skills and experience with inventory management.
    • OSHA knowledge is beneficial 

    Skills and Abilities (technical/professional skills, expertise and qualifications):

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to read work instructions and schematics.
    • Knowledge of JD Edwards.
