    Responsibilities

    Manages customer product and delivery needs; acts as primary contact with customer, sales, marketing and mill personnel.

     

    • Primary customer contact for assigned accounts
    • Tracks customer orders through entire process, (order entry, manufacture, shipment and delivery,); ensures customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries.
    • Assists in the assembling, analysing and distribution of monthly customer volume
    • Implements and oversees product and customer offsite inventory programs as needed to meet market/customer needs and maintain targeted levels
    • Manages input of sales orders utilizing Continuous Replenishment Process (CRP), Electronic Data Information (EDI), phone or email
    • Analyses order/shipment data for monthly financial forecast as well as providing customer order history to assist sales with evaluation of customer ordering needs to identify areas that need attention.
    • Performs weekly review of shipment history and provides updated monthly forecast to accounting where applicable.

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Related Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. 
    • Minimum of five years relevant customer service experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • ERP system experince. JD Edward preferred. 

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required and must be demonstrable.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required.  Knowledge of computer programs used to track production and customer order status preferred. 
    • Must be able to work with a diverse group of people in a professional manner and be able to handle several work tasks concurrently. 
    • This person must be able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and take the initiative to evaluate and drive order fulfilment process improvements.
