     Clearwater Paper manufactures quality consumer tissue, away-from-home tissue, hard roll tissue, bleached paperboard and pulp at manufacturing facilities across the nation. In addition, the Company produces bleached paperboard used by quality-conscious printers and packaging converters.     Responsibilities

    Manages customer product and delivery requirements; acting as the primary contact with customer, sales, marketing and mill personnel in the order fulfillment function. 

    • Ensure responsiveness to customer and sales inquiries
    • Perform timely and accurate customer order entry  
    • Track customer orders through entire supply chain processes (order to delivery), ensuring customer satisfaction and on time delivery
    • Manage the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all export activities.
    • Communicate with export and related authorities, and customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities.
    • Plan and implement export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization.
    • Keep management informed of all sales activity, including timely review of forecast reports
    • Work with management to overcome technical and business obstacles of current and prospective customers as needed
    • Provide short-term market intelligence and business management input for production planning and scheduling
    • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments related to sales
    • Implements and oversees product and customer off-site inventory programs, as needed, to meet market/customer needs and maintain targeted levels
    • Build professional relationships and trust with both internal and external customers
    • Manage customer accounts with consideration to financial impacts 

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Related Experience:

    • An undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
    • Three to five years previous customer service experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • Export experince preferred

     

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
    • Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel; ERP (JDE,SAP, Elixir) required
    • High attention to detail
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Proven ability to work in teams. Must exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships
    • Exceptional capacity to understand the complexity and nuances of a manufacturing organization, the market in which it competes, and the value drivers and key performance metrics in business
