    Summer Hire – Job Posting


    Purpose: Summer hires at Clearwater Paper are temporary employees used to complete special projects, as instructed. Students must work safely and productively in an industrial environment and obey all safety rules and regulations. Preference is given to children of current Ladysmith employees.


    General duties and responsibilities to include:

    • Stacking or loading boxes/cases
    • General maintenance duties, painting and landscaping
    • General housekeeping activities, cleanup, sweeping
    • General labor duties
    • Miscellaneous duties as needed




    • Be at least 18 years of age at or prior to their start date.
    • Be enrolled as a full-time student status at an accredited college or post-high school institution prior to start date.
    • Able to work in an industrial environment around heat, dust and noise.

    All candidates must pass a post offer drug screen, pre-employment physical prior to starting. Preference is given to returning students in good standing.  Returning summer hires are not allowed to work more than four summers.
