    Clearwater Paper manufactures quality consumer tissue, away-from-home tissue, parent roll tissue, bleached paperboard and pulp at manufacturing facilities across the nation.     Supervises converting machine employees, ensuring continuity of work practices and procedures.

    • Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing and handle unexpected vacancies, emergencies, operational problems and disciplinary actions.
    • Works with team leaders to ensure consistent application of company and department policies.
    • Partners with other departments for process changes and run-ability issues.
    • Assists machine superintendent with clothing and operating supplies
    • Assures continuous and efficient production, coordinating teams, equipment, materials, and supplies. 
    • Develops centerline for efficient operations.
    • Leads team in safe work practices ; provides information and training on all safety policies and procedures to include safety crew meetings.
    • Performs safety investigations as needed.





    Required education and related experience:

    • HS diploma or GED, Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
    • Minimum of 7 years paper making experience, with at least three (3) in a supervisory/leadership role.
    • Experience in successful team concept organizations.

    Skills and Abilities (technical/professional skills, expertise and qualifications):

    • Basic knowledge of MS Office programs
    • Strong organizational skills required
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Self-directed and energetic, able to lead and motivate others.
    • Knowledge of industry, machinery, equipment and processes.
