Senior Sales Analyst

Support the Sales & Marketing team with fact-based data, insights and opportunity identification to achieve revenue and profit targets. Responsible for understanding, analysing and distributing information critical to the success of the organization and will develop and execute processes to ensure the timely completion of recurring tasks.


Data Organization and Reporting

  • Leverage internal/external data and reporting to analyze trends and provide input and recommendations to improve sales efficiency, forecasting and performance metrics
  • Develop new analytical tools and/or processes to increase productivity, communication or reporting capabilities
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and market reviews
  • Prepare quarterly detailed KPI reports
  • Administer department SharePoint site

Financial Analysis and Opportunity Identification

  • Investigate variances between actual performance to budget and track business productivity drivers to KPI’s
  • Develop actionable recommendations to achieve sales KPI’s and provide opportunity identification
  • Analyze business data to identify macro trends and causation at a strategic account level
  • Provide key account insights and analysis to support development of category plans and presentations
  • Provide deep dive analysis support to Marketing & Category Management for new product development and assortment opportunities

S&OP Support

  • Support monthly forecasting/planning process by identifying forecast gaps and drivers to ensure quality demand planning
  • Utilize front end analysis to ensure inclusion of promotions, product transitions and base trends
  • Represent sales in monthly S&OP alignment meetings
  • Sales department lead for customer scheduling and service prioritization based on cost to serve segmentation analysis and modeling



  • 3-5 years comparable experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in sales operations, business intelligence, demand planning or equivalent function with significant exposure to a sales team


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Excel and other data management and visualization tools
