Overview

Develops, administers and coordinates training curriculum and programs, with an emphasis on state-of-the-art and efficient tools, including computer and web-based systems. Responsible for tracking/reporting metrics and updating scorecards across the talent function.  Position is accountable for focused/supervised talent based project development, management and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and Manages existing training systems.
  • Leads the effort to track employee training history to ensure compliance with company, state and federal regulations.
  • Tracks changes to training practices within the industry to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Leads all efforts to assure the quality of development and implementation of new systems
  • Responsible for tracking/reporting metrics and updating scorecards across the talent function. 
  • Position is accountable for focused/supervised talent based project development, management and execution.
  • Supports the Training Development Manager directly to assess operational training.
  • Develop innovative, effective training system, courses, and manuals
  • Oversees and maintains on-line training systems
  • Assists in the development of position qualification tools for hourly positions.
  • Maintains the SharePoint site(s)
  • Leads the efforts to provide quality training products to assist in creating the safest possible work environment
  • Verifies that all safety training recordkeeping is accurately maintained.

Qualifications

 

Required education and related experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in relevant field required. 
  • 3 to 5 years training and development experience or relevant experience.

 

Skills and Abilities (technical/professional skills, expertise and qualifications):

  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems and networking.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to develop programs, processes and manage projects in a supervised environment
  • Good presentation, organizing, prioritizing and implementation skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with a diverse group in multiple locations.
